What's included in the annual price?
Each plan includes the wearable device and a 12-month CloserLook Health membership. Core is $199/year and Pro is $299/year. Both include real-time health dashboard access, AI-powered insights, care partner access, and email/SMS alerts.
What happens after the first year?
Your membership renews annually at the same price — $199 for Core, $299 for Pro. You'll receive a reminder 30 days before renewal. No price increases, and you can cancel at any time.
Can I upgrade from Core to Pro?
Yes, you can upgrade your membership at any time and immediately gain access to all Pro features.
Can I buy devices for multiple members?
Absolutely. You can purchase devices for as many members as you need and track all of them from the CloserLook app or dashboard.

How long does the battery last?
The device lasts 7 days on a single charge. A low-battery alert is sent to your dashboard so you can remind your member to charge it.
How do I charge the device?
The device comes with a magnetic charger that auto-aligns to the correct position. Charge it before first use. A full charge takes 1 hour and is indicated by a solid green light.
Can I wear the device while bathing or swimming?
Yes. The device carries an IP68 rating, meaning it is fully dust-tight and designed to withstand prolonged submersion in water.
Can I wear the device 24 hours a day?
Yes. The device is designed for continuous 24/7 wear to track health metrics around the clock.
What do the flashing lights mean?
The red, white, and green lights flash when the device is not paired with a smartphone. They also activate when a manual measurement is triggered.
What is the advantage of a screenless device?
A screenless design eliminates the need to read or interact with a small display, reducing confusion and cognitive load. It works as a true “set-and-forget” solution — more durable, comfortable for all-day wear, and fully managed through the app. Family members receive alerts and data remotely without the member needing to take any action.
I can't find my CloserLook device. What do I do?
Use the Find Device feature in the app to locate your device. It shows signal strength so you can tell how close you are, and you can enable a beep to make the device sound and help you pinpoint it.
How do I connect the device?
Once the device is fully charged, the light turns green. Remove it from the power source and you will see the white, red, and green lights blinking. Enable Bluetooth on your phone, open the CloserLook app, and connect to the CloserLook device from the app. That's it — once connected, health data flows automatically from the device to your app and dashboard.
How do I disconnect or switch to a new device?
Go to Settings in the app and select Forget Device. This will disconnect your current device. You can then pair a new CloserLook wearable by following the standard connection steps.

What health metrics are tracked?
The device continuously monitors key health metrics in real time, streamed directly to your Guardian dashboard and app. Core tracks Heart Rate, Blood Oxygen (SpO2), Blood Pressure, Sleep, and Activity. Pro adds ECG, Blood Sugar, Anomaly Detection, and Advanced AI Insights.
Can I track medication?
Yes. You can input medications and track whether they've been taken. The device gives a gentle buzz as a reminder at the scheduled time.
Why do I need to enter manual readings?
The device calibrates using your manual readings over time, which helps it deliver more accurate and personalized health insights.
Can I set up my own step goal?
Yes. You can configure your step goal in the app settings.
Can I customize what information I see in the app?
Yes. You can customize what is displayed in the app settings.
How does the SOS feature work?
The member manually triggers the SOS, which instantly sends notifications to the entire care team along with their location.
Can I track my member's location?
Yes. If the member allows location access on their phone, you can view their location in real time as long as they have their device and phone with them.
Why do I need to enable location sharing?
Location sharing allows your care team to know where your member is during an emergency. When an SOS is triggered, their location is automatically shared so the care team can respond quickly.
Why do I need to set up a home location?
Setting a home location helps save the device's battery life. It enables geofencing, which reduces GPS and background activity when your member is in a known location like home — one of the biggest power drains. Only a location point is needed, not a full home address.
Can I display data in Metric or Imperial units?
The app automatically detects your country and sets the appropriate unit system. If you prefer to change it, you can do so at any time in the app settings.
How do I set up medication tracking?
You can add a medication by taking a photo, recording a video, searching by medicine name, or describing it. Once added, set your medication time and you'll receive a reminder notification on your phone along with a gentle buzz on the device to remind you to take it.
How do I change meal times for medication reminders?
Meal times can be configured in the app settings, allowing you to set medication reminders for a specific meal time — for example, before breakfast, after lunch, or before dinner.

What AI insights are available?
All health metrics are explained in plain language. Members and care partners can ask any health question via chat, and the AI provides clear, actionable answers. Anomaly detection runs continuously and sends instant notifications when something needs attention.

What alerts will I receive, and how quickly?
You'll receive instant push notifications and WhatsApp/SMS alerts whenever readings fall outside safe thresholds. Alert thresholds are fully configurable.
Can I receive text or call notifications?
Text and call notifications are turned off by default. Pro users can enable them in the app settings.

Can my family and my parent's doctor access the data?
Yes. You can invite Healthcare Professionals (HP) and Care Partners (CP) directly from your dashboard to view member data.
Can my parent see their own health data?
Yes. Members have their own in-app view showing daily metrics, trends, and AI summaries — keeping them informed without needing to interpret raw numbers.
